IX MIĘDZYNARODOWEGO KONKURSU WOKALNEGO
IM. JANA KIEPURY W KRYNICY-ZDROJU
REGULATIONS:
OF THE IX INTERNATIONAL
JAN KIEPURA VOCAL COMPETITION IN KRYNICA-ZDRÓJ
Informacje ogólne: General conditions:
1.
Konkurs organizowany jest przez Krynickie Towarzystwo Kulturalne im. Jana Kiepury w Krynicy-Zdroju i odbywać się będzie w dniach 23 - 25 listopad 2023 roku.
The Competition is organised by the Cultural Association of Jan Kiepura in Krynica-Zdrój. The contest will take place on 23th – 25th of November 2023.
2.
W Konkursie mogą wziąć udział wszyscy śpiewacy z Polski i innych krajów, którzy są studentami akademii muzycznych, osobami studiującymi wokalistykę, absolwentami wydziałów wokalnych i solistami teatrów muzycznych, którzy do dnia 23 listopada 2023 roku nie ukończyli 35 roku życia.
The competition is open for singers from Poland and other countries who do not complete the age of 35 years until 23th of November 2023. It is open to students and graduates of musical higher education institutions, persons attending private singing classes as well as the soloists of musical theatres.
3.
Termin zgłoszeń upływa w dniu 10 listopada 2023r.
Kartę zgłoszeniową, dowód wpłaty i zdjęcie należy wysłać mailem na adres: ktk.jan.kiepura@gmail.com
Application deadline expires on 10th of November 2023.
Registration form, receipt and photo shall be sent by email to the address: ktk.jan.kiepura@gmail.com
4.
Warunkiem przyjęcia zgłoszenia jest zgodność aplikacji Kandydata z Regulaminem Konkursu oraz opłacenie wpisowego w wysokości 350 PLN. Wpłaty należy dokonać na konto organizatora tj. Krynickiego Towarzystwa Kulturalnego im. Jana Kiepury w Krynicy-Zdroju; Bank PKO BP 25 1020 3453 0000 8502 0045 0254, dla przelewów zagranicznych; Bank PKO BP Odział 1 w Krynicy-Zdroju ul. z tytułem wpłaty: „Konkurs Wokalny im. J. Kiepury - wpisowe”.
The condition for the acceptance of the registration forms is their compliance with the regulations of the competition and payment of the registration fee in the amount of 90 EURO unto the bank account of the organiser (i.e. Cultural Association of Jan Kiepura in Krynica-Zdrój); Bank PKO BP 25 1020 3453 0000 8502 0045 0254 for domestic bank transfers or

5.
W przypadku rezygnacji Kandydata, przesłana dokumentacja i wpisowe (oraz opłata za udział akompaniatora) nie podlegają zwrotowi.
In case of candidate's withdrawal documentation and registration fee (as well as the fee for the accompanist) will not be refunded.
6.
Organizatorzy Konkursu umożliwiają współpracę z pianistami-akompaniatorami, pod warunkiem zgłoszenia takiej potrzeby i wniesienia opłaty na wyżej wymienione konto w wysokości 100 zł na konto KTK – z dopiskiem „Konkurs Wokalny im. J. Kiepury - pianista”.
The organisers secure the cooperation of pianists, provided a former application has been sent by the participant, and the fee of 30 euro has been paid to the aforementioned bank account with a note: ''Konkurs Wokalny im. J. Kiepury - pianista''
7.
Uczestnicy, którzy zgłoszą chęć współpracy z pianistą-akompaniatorem Konkursowym zobowiązani są do zgłoszenia dołączyć komplet nut zgłoszonych utworów z wszystkich trzech etapów (dobrej jakości wyciągi fortepianowe).
The participants who apply for the official accompanist are obliged to attach the notes of all the declared pieces for each stage of the competition to their application form (only good quality piano scores are accepted).
8.
Losowanie kolejności przesłuchań zostanie dokonane komisyjne przez organizatora i podane do wiadomości do dnia 18.11. 2023 r.
The order in which the entrants will perform will be determined by a draw by the organiser and announced until 18th of November 2023.
9.
Przesłuchania konkursowe oceniać będzie Jury powołane przez organizatora. Organizator powołuje przewodniczącego i vice przewodniczącego jury.
The competition performances will be evaluated by the jury appointed by the competition organiser. The organiser elects chairman and deputy chairman of the jury.
10.
Laureaci konkursu i inni nagrodzeni mają obowiązek wystąpić w koncercie laureatów, w przeciwnym wypadku może być mu odebrana nagroda pieniężna.
The laureates and prize-winners are obliged to take part in the Laureates' Concert, otherwise the cash prize can be withheld.

Zakwaterowanie: Accommodation:
1.
Kandydaci uczestniczą w Konkursie na koszt własny lub na koszt delegujących ich instytucji.
Candidates participate in the Competition at their own expense or at the expense of their delegating institutions
2.
Organizatorzy udzielą pomocy przy rezerwacji noclegów.
The Organisers are ready to provide help with reservation of places for overnight stays.
3.
Wszystkie koszty podróży pokrywają uczestnicy.
Travel costs are covered by the participants.
4.
Jeżeli Kandydatowi towarzyszy pianista-akompaniator, wszelkie koszty związane z jego przejazdem i pobytem (hotel, wyżywienie) pokrywa Uczestnik Konkursu.
If the candidate is accompanied by his or her own pianist, all the costs associated with travel and stay of the pianist (e.g. hotel, meals) are covered by the participant.
Nagrody: Awards:
1.
Przewidziane są trzy nagrody regulaminowe:
- I Nagroda 7.000 PLN
- II Nagroda 5.000 PLN
- III Nagroda 3.000 PLN
Three main prizes are established for the winners:
- 1st Prize 7.000 PLN
- 2nd Prize 5.000 PLN
- 3rd Prize 3.000 PLN
2.
Jury zastrzega sobie prawo innego podziału nagród.
The Jury may change the composition and the number of prizes.
3.
Nagrodzeni uczestnicy otrzymają dyplomy laureatów.
The Prizewinners will be awarded with laureates' diplomas.
4.
Wszyscy uczestnicy II etapu otrzymają dyplomy Finalisty Konkursu.
All the participants of the 2nd stage of the Competition will be awarded with finalists' diplomas.
Przesłuchania: Auditions:
1.
Uczestników Konkursu będzie oceniało jury powołane przez organizatora.
The Participants of the competition will be evaluated by the jury appointed by the competition organiser.
2.
Organizator powołuje przewodniczącego i wiceprzewodniczącego jury.
The organiser elects chairman and deputy chairman of the jury.
3.
Jury będzie oceniać Uczestników Konkursu w skali od 1 do 25 punktów.
The jury will evaluate the performances with points ranging from 1 to 25.
4.
Jury może przerwać prezentacje uczestnika, który przekroczył limit czasu.
The Jury may interrupt a performance if the participant has exceeded a time limit.
5.
Do drugiego etapu przechodzi dziesięć osób z najwyższą punktacją.
Ten participants with the highest score will move on to the 2nd stage of the Competition.
6.
Decyzje jury są ostatecznie, nieodwołalne, niezaskarżalne i nie można się od nich odwoływać.
The judgement of the jury is final and irrevocable, it cannot be an object of any formal appeal.
7.
Obrady jury i protokoły z nich są tajne.
The records and meetings of the jury are confidential.

9.
Wszystkie etapy przesłuchań i koncerty są otwarte dla publiczności.
All stages of the competition and the concerts are open to the public.
10.
Kolejność przesłuchań jest we wszystkich etapach ta sama z pominięciem wokalistów, którzy nie zakwalifikowali się.
The order in which the participants perform does not change. The participants who are not admitted to the next stage of the competition will be omitted from the list.
11.
Zakwalifikowani uczestnicy mają obowiązek zgłosić się w Biurze Konkursu najpóźniej w przeddzień wyznaczonego terminu przesłuchań do godz. 20.00.
The participants qualified for the next stage of the competition are obliged to report to the Competition's Office no later than on the eve of the scheduled date of the next audition until 8.00 p.m
12.
Organizator zapewnia salę do próby z pianistą w przeddzień występu (ok.15 min).
The organiser will provide a space for rehearsals with an accompanist on the eve of the performance in the dimension of 15 minutes.
13.
Salę do przebrania oraz rozśpiewania w dniu występu organizator zapewnia w czasie 30 minut przed planowaną prezentacją.
The organiser will provide a dressing room and place for a rehearsal 30 minutes before the presentation.
14.
Prób akustycznych w Sali Koncertowej Starego Domu Zdrojowego w Krynicy-Zdroju nie przewiduje się.
Acoustic rehearsals in the Concert Hall of the Old Resort House in Krynica-Zdrój are not provided.
15.
Koncert Laureatów odbędzie się w Sali Balowej Starego Domu Zdrojowego w Krynicy-Zdroju w sobotę 25 listopada 2023 roku.
The Laureates' Concert will take place in the Ballhall of the Old Resort House in Krynica-Zdrój on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
16.
Wszyscy laureaci i finaliści Konkursu mają obowiązek nieodpłatnie wziąć udział w Koncercie Laureatów w dniu 25 listopada 2023 r. Odmowa udziału w powyższych koncertach oznacza rezygnację laureata z nagrody pieniężnej oraz przyznanych wcześniej tytułów.
The laureates and prize-winners are obliged to take part in the Laureates' Concert on 25th of November 2023. The refusal of participation is equivalent with the resignation from cash prize and any of the awards acquired.
Prawa autorskie: Copyright:
1.
Za występy w koncercie laureatów oraz za nagrania radiowe bądź telewizyjne w czasie całego Konkursu uczestnicy i akompaniatorzy nie mogą wnosić roszczeń honoraryjnych i jakichkolwiek innych praw.
Participation in the Laureates' Concert as well as radio and television recordings made during the Competition cannot be a basis for lodging any formal claims and/or asserting any rights on behalf of the participants and their accompanists.
2.
Uczestnik oraz pianista zgłaszając się do przesłuchań konkursowych przenoszą nieodpłatnie na organizatora Konkursu prawo do korzystania i rozporządzania całością artystycznego wykonania w trakcie Konkursu i ewentualnych późniejszych koncertów laureatów.
The participants of the competition (and their accompanists) agree to transfer their copyright to their artistic performances in all phases of the competition and during any subsequent prize winners concerts onto the organisers of the competition.
3.
Organizator Konkursu zastrzega sobie prawo do:
- transmitowania przez radio i telewizję, filmowania,
- rejestrowania na różnych nośnikach dźwięku i obrazu,
- rozpowszechniania nagrań przez wszelkie media wszystkich publicznych wystąpień uczestników w trakcie Konkursu i późniejszych koncertów laureatów.
The Organiser of the Competition reserves the right to:
- recording and transmission on radio and television
- recording on any storage media
- dissemination of images of the participants and recordings of all public performances during the competition and in all subsequent prize winners concerts in the mass media.
4.
Wokaliści uczestnicy Konkursu i towarzyszący im Pianiści biorący udział w Konkursie, udzielają organizatorowi zezwolenia:
- na rozpowszechnianie swojego wizerunku, utrwalonego za pomocą wszelkich technik w związku z ich udziałem w poszczególnych etapach konkursu i koncertach laureatów.
- na przetwarzanie swoich danych osobowych na potrzeby organizacji Konkursu.
All singing participants in the competition and their accompanists authorise the organisers to:
- the publication of their image that is retained with all methods of photography and recording as part of their participation in the various phases of the competition and during the winners concert
- the processing of their personal data for purposes of organising the competition.

a) dowolna aria operowa kompozytora włoskiego
b) aria operowa kompozytora słowiańskiego
c) pieśń kompozytora polskiego, skomponowana do 1939 roku.
d) dowolna pieśń kompozytora niemieckiego lub austriackiego, skomponowana do 1939 roku.
Czas trwania: do 17 minut
1st stage
a) one free choice opera aria by an Italian composer
b) one opera aria by a Slavic composer
c) one song by a Polish composer (written until 1939).
d) one free choice song by a German or an Austrian composer (written until 1939).
duration: no longer than 17 minutes
II etap / Finał
a) dwie dowolne arie operowe o zróżnicowanym charakterze
b) aria operowa kompozytora polskiego
Czas trwania: do 15 minut
2nd stage / Final
a) two free choice opera arias of different styles
b) one opera aria by a Polish composer
duration: no longer than 15 minutes
